Default Casual TA Spiker build E/R

This is just a build I have been tinkering with for the last three days and it has taken various forms as it adapted to a suitable purpose.

Tends to make alot of killing blows and is capable of some serious dps output over a short period of time.

Profession: E/r



Type: PVP mostly TA


Category: Spiker


Armor: Does not matter.



Weapon: Earth magic staff. enchant duration increase mod would be good.



Skill Points

Earth magic: 11+ (3) superior rune

Energy storage: 13+(3) superior rune

Wilderness survival: 6




Skills:

Aura of Restoration

{Elemental Attunement}

Serpents Quickness

Obsidian Flame

Stoning

Magnetic Aura

Storm chaser


NOTE: I occasionally throw in Quickening Zephyr and Gale in place of the Stoning.

This produces some incredible spamming of the Obsidian Flame and Gale. It is tough to control and you run out of mana quickly but it is capable of unleashing massive pain very quickly.


[Summary:

I enjoy doing alot of damage and I wanted an all or nothing approach in TA matches to ensure I would improve my odds of earning faction by simply making kills as quickly and easily as posssible.

Strengths:

This character is high damage output to single target and decent odds for survival as long as you are spamming your spells.

The Damage output and mana consumption are optimized for efficiency and best chances to make kills, surive, and regenerate mana.



Weaknesses:

Mana tends to be the primary concern in a match that is going your way simply because damage is not cheap.

However you can reduce this problem by simply attacking the same target your teamates are attacking.

You may be thinking why use 2 superior runes.....simple I am in the match to have the best chances of making kills as possible and yes I do die frequently.

That is why we all bring REZ sigs though.





How to use it: Simplicity is a feature of this build as well for all you nubs in the audience.

Buff up with enchantments and serpents quickness.

Spam your two attack skills on a soft target or the group target and watch as you knock close to 200hp of your enemy with each succesive volly.

Note: [ have not done the math to determine which targets are most succeptible but generally I kill other casters with ease]


Finally when the going gets tough hit your defensive skills and hope your team does their jobs as well as you do.

I looked and did not see this build posted here so I take partial credit.

THIS BUILD will earn plenty of faction in TA ......have not tried it in larger battles yet.
